PayPal-Phishing: Support Message : [ Update Account ] von P.Service (root@localhost)

Das es Phishing sein würde, das war klar. Aber unter „P.Service“ hätte ich nicht PayPal erwartet (wobei es sich um eine gefälschte E-Mail handelt, PayPal hat damit nichts zu tun!).

Am Donnerstag, den 20. Oktober 2016 wurde durch unbekannte Dritte die folgende E-Mail in englischer Sprache versendet:

Betreff: Support Message : [ Update Account ]

Absender: P.Service (root@localhost)

Dear Client,

there is an issue in your account beacuse :

Someone login to your account from | 212.15.61.18

What do I need to do?

– confirm that you are the owner of the account

How i confirm my account?

– to confirm that you are the account owner click on the link bleow :

Update Now

– Confirm that you’re the owner of the account, and then follow the instructions.

– Confirm all information, and then access your account as normal

Angeblich soll man wegen eines unberechtigten Zugriffes der IP-Adresse 212.15.61.18 seinen Account überprüfen.

Achtung: Es handelt sich um eine betrügerische E-Mail! Klicken Sie daher nicht auf den Link und geben Sie keine Zugangsdaten ein! Auch wenn der Name nicht in der E-Mail auftaucht, so ist eine englische PayPal – Phishing – Seite verlinkt. PayPal hat weder mit der E-Mail, noch mit der Seite etwas zu tun. Die verlinkte Domain www.wakari.co.ug wie auch die weitergeleitete Adresse https://samco.websitewelcome.com/~wakari/bdf/update-now gehören nicht zu PayPal!

Klicken Sie nicht auf den Link und geben Sie keine Zugangsdaten ein! PayPal hat eine Informationsseite zu Phishing. Leiten Sie Phishing-Mails mit PayPal-Bezug an [email protected] weiter!

 

Zunächst würde ein gefälschtes Log In – Formular angezeigt. Geben Sie keine Daten ein und melden Sie sich nicht an!
