Am Mittwoch, den 25. Mai 2016 wurde durch unbekannte Dritte die folgende E-Mail in englischer Sprache versendet:

in your account, we had to limit the access in the account.

Before we can restore your account back to usual, we need
to hear from you.

Please download and open the attached file from this notification.
Afterwards, we ask that you complete the form that we have
provided.

After doing so, we are then going to review your information and take
the necessary steps to lift the limitations. Please understand
that Account Limitations are implemented to help keep you protected.

We apologize for the inconvenience.

Die E-Mail mit dem Betreff „We need to hear from you“ soll von PayPal Security Team stammen, als E-Mail-Adresse ist aber [email protected] zu sehen. Die E-Mail verlinkt auch nicht auf eine betrügerische Internetseite, sondern bringt das Phishing-Formular gleich als Anlage mit (attachment62.html).

Öffnen Sie nicht die Anlage und geben Sie keine Daten ein! PayPal hat eine Informationsseite zu Phishing. Leiten Sie Phishing-Mails mit PayPal-Bezug an [email protected] weiter!
