Am Montag, den 26. Dezember 2016 (2. Weihnachtsfeiertag) wurde durch unbekannte Dritte die folgende E-Mail in englischer Sprache versendet. Achtung: Es handelt sich um eine gefälschte E-Mail. Klicken Sie daher nicht auf den Link und geben Sie keine Zugangsdaten ein!

Achtung: Es handelt sich um eine gefälschte und betrügerische E-Mail! Die E-Mail wurde nicht von PayPal versendet! PayPal hat mit der E-Mail nichts zu tun!

Ich habe die E-Mail heute ausschließlich auf Adressen bekommen, deren Zugangsdaten (z. B. durch Phishing oder Trojanische Pferde) von Dritten in der Vergangenheit veröffentlich worden sind. Dies kann aber auch Zufall sein.

In allen E-Mail war der Link redirect.f5454.hostest.ru, der sicher nicht zu PayPal gehört (es handelt sich um eine russische Domain). Beim Aufruf wird auf eine andere Subdomain weitergeleitet (serviceupdates.f5454.hostest.ru), welche auch keine Adresse von PayPal ist!

PayPal hat eine Informationsseite zu Phishing. Leiten Sie Phishing-Mails mit PayPal-Bezug an [email protected] weiter!

Trotz der englischen E-Mail scheint die Seite entsprechend der aufrufenden IP-Adresse ein gefälschtes PayPal-Login in passender Sprache (für Deutschland in deutscher Sprache) anzuzeigen. Geben Sie keine Daten ein! Es handelt sich um eine betrügerische Seite!

Nach der Eingabe der persönlichen Daten erfolgt die Abfrage von Kreditkartendaten. Geben Sie keine Kreditkarten-Nr. ein, da Ihre Kreditkarte sonst missbraucht werden kann!
